7 weeks visit

OK so I didn't get my ultrasound done today. I'm only 7 weeks pregnant, so instead they took 5 tubes of blood and made me give a urine sample. They went over my medical history with me. Went over there different options I will have to take certain test when I'm further along. Like to see if the baby will have down syndrome, my sugar levels which they will check every time I come for a appointment and if its not normal then they will do the 3 hour test were you have to drink that nasty stuff. I was glad my mom was there today with me because she was able to answer some questions I was not sure about. I also need to decide to take birthing classes now. Which they strongly recommend and I'm sure I will. Plus I got a ton of free prenatal pill's samples, so I don't have to pay from them yet. I got to choose which kind I want so she gave me plenty of them two samples.

So now I'm going for my first ultrasound on October 23,2009 which is my birthday and I will be out of town but I can pick up my mom from work and we can head back to Marshall. That's going to be so exciting. I'm a little bummed I could not do that today and was so looking forward to it. So that's the updated on everything that happen today. They did tell me when I'm 20 weeks they will do the ultrasound where we find out the sex and I can have whoever I want with me. So that means, chad, my mom and Chad's mom can all be with me and even my sisters if they can get off to come. I wish I could be there for Becca's but its to far and on a Friday. Most likely it will just be me, chad, mom and Christa. I so can't wait for that to happen.

Finally, the morning sickness had left'ed me for the day and I have been able to eat normal. Hopefully this stays this way because if it don't Ill have to go on a prescribed med's because its not good to throw up all day, couple times is fine.
